It was damn near five months ago that we reported, based on a Variety piece, that Colin Farrell and Keira Knightley would star in London Boulevard, the directorial debut of The Departed screenwriter William Monahan. And now, today, THR is reporting their casting as if it’s brand new.
So I guess that’s a confirmation? The movie starts filming next week, and if that means that Knightley and Farrell have been dicking around when their contracts for the last five months, that’s kind of mean of them. Either way, the two will join David Thewlis, Anna Friel, Ben Chaplin and Ray Winstone in the film, about a London criminal (Farrell) who starts a relationship with an actress (Knightley).
