Hip-hop star Mos Def has come up with a novel way for his fans to buy his forthcoming album – he’s giving it away free with a t-shirt.
The rapper/actor’s new record The Ecstatic hits U.S. stores next month (Jul09) – but instead of a traditional CD, fans can buy an item of clothing and still get the songs. Each top, costing 39, has a tag containing a unique code and a website address where the purchaser can download the album for free. (CL/WNWCNM/ZN)
