Serial Killers Cant Beat Jason Statham
Jason Statham is one of those action stars who seems capable of anything, probably because we’ve spent the last year seeing him escape death hundreds of time as Chev Chelios, and drive tricked-out cars to glory in Death Race. So when there’s a serial killer running around a London neighborhood, killing cops, who else would you call?
Statham will star in Blitz, an adaptation of Ken Bruen’s bestseller about a tough cop assigned to track down the killer who’s picking off his colleagues. Paddy Considine will play Statham’s partner. Steve Chasman, who will be producing the film, told Variety “Jason and I are excited about the opportunity to be working here again as we are keen to continue supporting British films.” Nathan Parker wrote the script, which Elliott Lester is directing.
