Tales Of Pirates Introduces Twitter Tool
Apparently too much access to information isnt enough access to information. IGG announced that the Tales of Pirates team, as well as the users, just cant keep up with all of what goes on in ToP. The solution for this conundrum? Twitter.
According to the press release
This new in-game plug-in allows players with a Twitter account to post and receive messages on the fly concerning important activities and events that take place in the game. Could it be that people have overwhelmed themselves with trying to be too many places all at once? Or maybe that some people want to be informed about all things at all times regarding their favorite pastimes? Theres a term for this and its called information overload.
